ธาราระทม/taraa ratom( suffering River)

 

แว่วยินแต่เสียง น้ำหลากมา

wew yin dee sieng nam laak maa

I vaguely hear the sound of running water,

 

เสมือนยิ่งพาน้ำตาข้าหลั่ง

simuan ying paa namtaa kaa lang

it seems like me crying

 

ธารารักเอย　รักเคยฝากฝัง

taraa rak ei rak kui faak fang

river of love.where have we kept love buried

 

ท่ามกลางฟ้าเดือนสะพรั่ง

taam klaang faa duan saprang

in the middle of the sky with luxuriant moon

 

รักกลับอ้างว้างในคืนเดือนเพ็ญ

rak klap aang waang nai kuun duan oen

love has changed to lonely in the full-moon night

ฝังฝากใจมาไร้ความจริงทิ้งให้ลำเค็ญ

fang faak jai maa wai kwam jing ting hai lam ken

buries unrealities in my heart and throws torment (to me)

 

มองเดือนครั้งใดหมองใจไม่เว้น

moong duang krang dai moong jai mai wen

whenever I look at the moon, I can’t help feeling sorrow

 

ค่ำคืนรักเอยเชยเช่น

 kam kuun rak ei chei chen

the night when we loved,

 

แสงแห่งเดือนเพ็ญเชยฟ้าราตรี

seeng heeng duan pen chai faa raatrii

full-moonlight loved the night sky

 

* รักจากพรากไป หาเพียงรอยอาลัยไม่มี

rak jaak kraak pai haa phieng rooy aalai mai mii

(after ) love has disappeared , there doesn’t even remain a trace

 　

 สายน้ำยามเพ็ญ ก่อนเคยได้เป็นสักขี

 saay nam yaam pen goon kui dai pen sak kii

the river in (the time of) full-moon has always been a witness

 

ยินแผ่วแว่วเสียงนที

yin pheeu weeu sieng natii

the vague sound of river I hear

 

คล้ายเสียงเสียดสีที่เย้ยดวงใจ klaay sieng siet sii tii yey duang jai

its like the voice of sarcasm, laughing at this heart  　

 

** โธ่คำอธิฐาน too kan atithaan

oh, the words I prayed　

 

เหมือนบ่วงมารมารับเอาคำสาบานข้าไป

muan buong maa ramaa rap ao kam saabaan kaa pai

it is like the allurement for lust came to take my promise away

 

มนต์มารร้ายยิ่ง รักจริงสลาย

mon maan raay ying rak jing salaay

(to be) worst incantation , really, love has died

 

ตั้งปณิธานวอนไหว้ รักแห่งดวงใจจงพบกันเทอญ

tang punitaan woon wai rak heeng duang jai jong phop kan toon

I make a wish that love and my heart meet each other
